Test internet speed on TestInternetSpeed.net.pl with the device you are using. Your IP address is used only to name your provider on this page. The test measures this device against a nearby server, and results are not saved here.
Browsing, email, and standard streaming. Best for 1–2 people.
HD streaming, video calls, and light gaming. Best for 2–4 people.
Multiple HD streams, gaming, and remote work. Best for 3–5 people.
4K streaming, competitive gaming, large file uploads, and smart home devices. Best for 5+ people or heavy usage.
A test internet speed check measures how your connection behaves right now. It reports download speed, upload speed, ping, and jitter.
Download is data coming to you. Upload is data leaving. Ping is the delay for a round trip, and jitter is how much that delay wobbles.
Press GO. The test finds a nearby server, then measures download and upload. It usually finishes in about 20 seconds.
Download speed is how quickly data can reach this device, in megabits per second. One HD stream often needs 5–25 Mbps. A 4K stream usually wants 25 Mbps or more.
Upload speed is how quickly this device can send data. Video calls, cloud backups, and large file sends depend on it. Many cable plans have a much lower upload than download.
Ping is the round-trip delay to the test server, in milliseconds. Under 20 ms is excellent, under 50 ms is comfortable, and over 100 ms is where games and calls start to lag.
Jitter is how uneven that delay is. Low jitter keeps calls clear. High jitter causes choppy audio even when the Mbps number looks fine.
Start with download for streaming and browsing. Check upload if you take calls or send files. Look at ping and jitter if something feels laggy even though the Mbps number is high.
Repeat the test near the router and again in the room where it feels slow. A big gap points at Wi-Fi. Similar low readings in both places point at the plan or the line.
